As a former colony of Portugal it is now the melting pot of friendly inhabitants which personifies the unique Brazilian culture. Rio de Janeiro is home to some of the most beautiful settings and the largest festival in the world. With a beautiful coastline stretching more than seven thousand kilometers, Brazil harbors an array of beautiful beaches and natural wonders. The lush Amazon jungle located in northern Brazil thrives with biodiversity. The Amazon basin, a labyrinth of rivers and rainforests, covers about half of the country and houses an estimated sixty percent of all life forms on the planet. Brazil is a country thriving with beauty and culture.
Internship programs are organized based on individual needs. Research or Dissertation Internships are usually conducted during the last year of study in support of graduation or dissertation requirements.
Volunteers help provide daily care and emotional support for those less fortunate children without parents through hands-on activities such as education, counseling, nutrition, hygiene, recreation, sports and entertainment.
Teaching and Literacy Program
Volunteers are introduced to a community to teach kindergarten, primary and secondary school children English language and other school subjects with an emphasis on literacy and cross-curriculum learning.

Volunteers involved in the implementation of waste management and sanitation techniques, improvements to agriculture and farming, and village community building projects.
Volunteers provide primary health care services at health centers or outposts. Medical, dental and nursing care are examples of needed services. Volunteers conduct orientation in hygiene, sanitation, and other health topics in schools and communities.
